I have had speed queen washer less than 90days and the conteol panel went out. So no i am not happy. I was excited for the features and warranty that you hope to never use. I am disappointed as others and sellers promoted this item only to fail in 60days.

I researched washers for a year and have this unit for 2 months. Decided on this because of its direct drive agitator. And something without a touch screen and shorter wash times. Really gets the dirt out of field clothes full of red clay. Turns clothes well and have not seen any twisting or clothing damage in any cycle. Does washable rugs really well.
Yes, its loud but then i knew that from watching videos. They need to add a silencer option :) But the sound does not bother me as it tells me where its at in the cycle when i need to intervene.
Wish it had real mechanical switches vs electronic boards. Still don't see the need for boards. We like to repair our stuff,,, but then again I expect this washer to outlive me!
Wish I could advance manually thru the selected wash cycle like I could on old Kenmore(again, manual switches). This would be helpful as I sometimes use my machine as a sink. Really don't like looking at lights and starting and stopping a cycle.
Love that I can elect Spin cycle with Extra Rinse selected as well.
Love the no lid lock feature. much easier than pushing a button and waiting 10 secs for a lid to unlock just to add a sock.
I am happy with the washer, great choice.

Is it possible to truly love a washing machine? Yes! I had a Whirlpool HE for 18mos, purchased quickly due to my 12yo Kenmore dying. The WP HE electronics failed at 18mos. My wonderful repairman gave me the instructions for how to reset the machine. He will not touch electronic repairs, just mechanical. The resetting had to be done for each load, the motor would run a-f-t-e-r the cycle completed, so had to unplug the machine too. That lasted for 9 more loads. Thank goodness I did my research and landed on SQ TC5003WN. My HE refused to start on a Sunday and I purchased my Speed Queen that very same day. I can now do ONE load in lieu of 3 for the HE. Which by the way saves water, etc. The loads are spun dry, not left dripping wet like the HE. My dryer does not have to run longer cycles to dry semi wet clothes. The Speed Queen has NO lid lock!! THANK YOU Speed Queen! Unlike the HE, the Speed Queen somehow manages to leave a dry tube after a regular load. On delicate loads there will be some amt of water left over but nothing like the HE. Such a joy to use. My repairman says I'll never need him again for my washing machine.

We get really dirty on our farm. With the TC5, our clothes are actually clean for the first time in years. The agitator really works, and the tub FILLS with water! (Not halfway like our last one. Sure, it's twice as expensive as our last washer, but how are you better off? Spending $1500 once or $700 three times?

Although our new washer has been used and performed flawlessly learned a few things that improved results.1. Normal Econowssh uses less water but Perm press rinses better. 2. Deep Fill uses approx. 19 gallons. Bulky /Sheets 16 gallons. Clothes definitely are cleaner then our kid front load machine and cycles are much faster. Would like to see more detail as stated in the users manuals.

After watching YouTube videos on speed queen products I was interested in starting to save some money for replacing both the washer and dryer. Four months went by lo and behold my whirlpool DIO of 12 years failed to run. Now needing a washer ASAP. Found a local dealer and had it delivered and set up. Within 1 hour of delivery we had 2 loads done and dried. Works as advertised. Will be getting the matching drier when my whirlpool gas

A real update from prior washer. Fast, but feels like clothes getting much cleaner.
Only cons were the initial oil in drum, not as big as prior machine, and it's a little loud. The pros far outweigh these issues so far. Worth the extra for the durability and cleaning power.

We bought the Speed Queen after going through 3 washers in 20 years. After conducting some research, reviewing in showroom, discussing with longterm store, and most importantly a customer standing in line to purchase a part for his Speed Queen, we new were making a sound purchase.
The customer inline purchasing the part is the key salesman and should get commission. He stated that they purchased theirs seven years ago after going through several washers. I didn't get a chance to question the need for the part. He stated that they have eight kids and have never had an issue one until now and the part he was needing was a simple relay and housing that had cracked and vibrated connection lose. Simple fix and they have no regrets. We are looking forward to the same results, just a lot less loads of laundry in such a short time.

By far the most durable machine I've purchased! It is way quieter than all the others I've had and doesn't jump all over the room, I can open the lid to add garments to the washer if I need to. Gets clothes really clean. Not all computerized, very basic, easy to run and less to go wrong. Only downer is there is no load size to pick from, but all other benefits out way that one option. Good heavy duty solid machine, a little more in price than I wanted to spend but I feel I got what I payed for. I would highly recommend!

This is a pricey washer but well worth it. Does a heavy duty load in about 35 minutes compared to an hour to an hour and a half for a regular washer. The savings on the electric bill adds up. Also gets clothes very clean. Not normal dirty clothes, dairy farm dirty clothes!!!

I wish I knew years ago I could purchase a commercial washing machine for home use. This machine cleans the clothes thoroughly, clothes are submerged in water not sloshing around with minimal water level its own dirty water like the machines you buy at large home improvement stores. Cycles are done consistently and no unnecessary whistles and bells. My whites are white. I can't say enough about this machine. This machine rocks!

I am surprised that this machine does not have a way for me to just rince the tub out, like just a rince cycle. If I want to clean the tub, I have to set it to the entire wash cycle. Very disappointing. After washing some rags, the tub was dirty and I had to just wipe it out with a clean rag instead of rinsing it with a rinse cycle. Way too much money for not enough options. Kind of disappointed.

My mother-in-law's experience with Speed Queen appliances got me interested in purchasing this high quality and durable brand. I purchased a Speed Queen dry two years ago and have been 100% pleased with how it performs in all dryer settings. The User Guide is very good in explaining the proper way of drying laundry items. Last year, I purchased their Top Load washer. Again, the User Guide is top notch! I have been completely satisfied with how it cleans the wash load in cold, warm or hot water. The high spin cycle is amazing. I am convinced that Speed Queen is the way to go!

This purchase was the worst mistake of my life. I bought this washing machine telling the wife it's the best built washing machine and we won't have any problems for years. What a joke, not even one wash and this thing is buzzing so loud you can hear it out on the street. Already had tech look at it multiple times with little or no help.
This washing machine has already cost my family over $1,700.00 because of lost work needing to wait the whole day for when a technician can show up. Yes, that's right no appointments, just tells you we will be there sometime that day you just need to be there all day and wait.
Won't exchange it won't let me return it, there was obviously NO quality check before it left the factory, this all started on the FIRST wash.
I dread every time I need to use it, just a pathetic excuse for an appliance.
I would in no way recommend anything from this company. Do yourself a favor and buy a . You can buy 3 of those for the money I am stuck with on this thing.
Wish I could post a video of it, but it won't let me. Maybe when I have some vacation to burn, I'll try and get some help again.
