We have Speed Queens at all of our fire stations. I told my wife that if it can handle the constant abuse from firemen. It can handle our family. She was skeptical because it's appearance but now she's a believer. She said, "She's not pretty but she sure does work hard."

I bought a speed queen based on the word of a friend who said they were awesome. I really wanted it after I found out it was made in the USA. It does a wonderful job of getting my clothes, clean, cleaner then they have been in quite a while. My last few top loaders and front loaders just have not lived up to this speed queen.

We have gone through 3 washers in about 7 years..NOT GOOD! I hate the new low water requirements.. I have done wash and had it totally dry in a lot of spots when the cycle was done.. After many searches and failures we finally found a GOOD washer that actually washes the clothes and gets them clean and WET in one cycle..We had few major brands and they were horrible..Finally our daughter and her husband found this Speed Queen for us.. THANK YOU LORD! An answer to our prayers and search..We have had it for about a month and do laundry for 4 adults..The clothes are clean the first time and I love the choice for the deep fill and the pre soak..LOVE this machine..a great success for the entire house..

Washes quickly and easy to manage. Fits my queen size quilt with no trouble at all. We have a family of 4 and no problem managing our laundry with this washer. Most washers made by other companies are now garbage. Whirlpool and Maytag washer are now made to breakdown in 3 years or less due to a redesign of the parts that are now plastic instead of metal. Our last four Whirlpool and Maytag washers all failed within a few years of each other. Our last Maytag washer failed with 5 months. Buy only Speed Queen from now on. The non locking lid is wonderful.

There is a flaw in the draining of this washer. I had to have a repair to remove an adult sized sock out of the fan blade of the drain. And it was not covered under warranty. I was told that the only thing I can do is be careful how I load the machine. REALLY? Or to used laundry bags to wash smaller items like socks and underwear. Besides that, this is the best machine since the old washers of the 70s.

I absolutely did NOT want to drop that much money on a washing machine! But, the new electronic versions we'd be buying kept failing. We've heard of SQ for years but just didn't want to pay the money. That said, we LOVE it so far...its fast and does a great job. We don't 55 settings to wash towels and sheets. We have high hope that this one with be with us for a long time.

I had to replace my washing machine, and my repair person suggested this machine. He said it was the best I would ever get. He has been right so far. It's quiet, it's fast, and does a superb job. I couldn't be any happier with it.

Speed Queen was recommended by a service providor on my last washer which was 7 years old. The old washer would constantly leave white spots on our dark clothes which I blamed on the water here in Peoria Arizona but since we switched to Speed Queen all our problems disappeared.

I purchased a speed queen washer- TC5003W in October of 2023. I wanted to give a very honest review that's why it took me so long to write it. Almost a year since I bought this washer, and I really like it a lot. It has never gone off balance, the laundry is never twisted and wrinkled, always coming out very clean. My laundry is coming out so much cleaner than with my previous washer. I love the gentle cycle, use it often, and I also like the bulky cycle, works great with sheets and towels. However, I am not overly fond of the "lid close" feature. The washer will not start if lid is not closed, that's OK, but quite often I have to close the lid very firmly before machine will start. It has done that ever since I had it. Gentle closing just does not do it. I would have given a 5 starts if not for the lid. But I still love my washer. Thank you Speed Queen.

After 7 years my Speed Queen literally lost it's mind-bad motherboard. So instead of spending the $700+ for a new one, I decided to put the money toward a new machine. I sacrificed bell's and whistles for a machine with no hateful lid lock. It's louder and has no tub level control but my clothes seem so much freshwr and cleaner. I'm still learning the particulars but love my Speed Queen.

Great machine but too much suds even with very little detergent. Had to allow it to drain in tub as supposed to drain pipe. It kept overflowing! Dries clothes very well … don't need to run dryer very long.

!!Hallelujah, we finally have relief after several years of GE PROFILE LEMON nightmares during which we deeply regretted having given up perfectly functioning "ancient" Kenmore and Maytag equipment. We are thrilled to regain the ability to obtain clean, well rinsed laundry in half an hour! Absolutely NO COMPLAINTS! WOULD BUY THIS WASHER AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT! Has plenty of options for different temperatures, extra rinse and/or soak, delicates to heavy duty 👍
NAYSAYERS grumble about noise but it's no worse than most other laundry machines. One user pointed out that even if another washer might be quieter, once the dryer goes on, it's going to be loud anyway so why quibble?
*Love, LOVE the ability to add forgotten items without frying out a motherboard due to lid lock malfunction.
*Avoid the "normal/eco" mode because it's secret code for use-no-water, literally get your panties in a twist and destroy fabric. (Laws seem to require this ridiculousness?)
*Yes, it's a smaller capacity than most other washers, but actually has the capability of washing a full load in deep water so everything is clean. The standard fill is just over half the drum full 🤩 DEEP FILL gives you an actual full load cleaning capability like nothing else on the market AND in half the time!!

The purchase of my Speed Queen TC5003WN replaces an existing model that was made in December of 1983, predating our ownership of this house--we've been here since 2000. So the original machine lasted 41 years until it finally seized up, probably from lack of lubrication. In any case, I replaced it with as close to the same model as I could get, knowing Speed Queen's reputation as built for tough service in laundromats and commercial establishments. While most other appliances seem built to last six years or so, it makes more sense to invest more money and buy something that's built to last. Actually the warranty on this machine is longer than some other machines' lifetimes. Washes come out clean, and the spin-dry seems "drier" than our 4-decades' old machine.

We had laundromats in Chicago area for years and always had Speed Queen products. After purchasing a home recently that came with Whirlpool washer and dryer, I was forced to give them away and buy Speed Queen. Love the agitator and being able to stop wash while in progress, plus clothes did not come out twisted up.

I needed a new washing machine and this one has a little bit smaller dimensions than some of the monsters in the big box stores. I have it upstairs and the closet space where it went is very limited. I like the 3 year warranty and the reviews that say these last longer than other washers and dryers.

This washer is very solid and heavy. I expect it will last a long time. Handles heavy loads with ease. Never goes out of balance. Only problem I have is on heavy duty the spin water drains so fast my pipes cant handle it. Had them checked and all clear. I do have a lot of bends and turns in pipes and suspect the water gets backed up in there. I have been using it on perma press setting because the water does not drain as fast. Works for me.

I bought an LG washer/dryer set about 3 years ago, after reading reviews. I absolutely hated the washer, which quit working properly after 1 year. Took forever to wash a load and clothes often didn't look clean. I missed the agitator, non locking lid and a full tub of water. I am 100% satisfied with Speed Queen.
