Took awhile to get hooked up but unrelated to Bosh. But it didn't work properly because the electronic panel was faulty and had to be replaced which took a week to get part. Then the warming drawer wouldn't close so the rails had to be replaced. Only took a day to get parts and install which was good with Turkey day approaching. Finding I need to clean and polish stovetop almost every day. Only been using it for a few weeks but seems to be working fine now.

This is the best range I've ever owned. Oven temp is perfectly calibrated, love the 5 burners and long grates. It looks professional and elegant in the kitchen and is well made. Would highly recommend this range.

Our 20 year old duel fuel range died recently. We love cooking with gas and baking with electricity so we knew we needed to go that route. Our son installs kitchens and his go to for his own recently renovated kitchen appliances was Bosch. We followed his lead and we are thrilled. We love pizza parties and can now cook 6 pizzas at once! Can't wait to cook our Thanksgiving turkey in the nice roomy oven. Five burners to work with is awesome. Well worth the investment.

We bought this Duel Fuel unit to replace our 22 year old unitDF unit from another brand. I personally did the compleate instalation including changing from Natural gas to propane, All of the instructions were easy to read and follow. It took me less than a day athough I had to make some significan changes to the countertop both depth and width.
This is vastly better.
The multiple range top burners are of different sizes, all are significantly lower than our prior unit. The result is that the heat ismuch more uinformly applied to the pot and pans above.
The oven again has much more uniform heat distribution with in. The result is much more evenly baking.
The one item we would like to see is larger printing on the control panel and preferably back lit. The present can be quite difficlt to read in any thing but bright daylight.

Great oven and stovetop combo. Many feature for perfect cooking enviroment for each recipe. Love the warming drawer and use it often. The probe function is a bit finiky, but still works great and I love to use it when cooking chicken and pork so I don't overcook them. Overall, very happy with the product.

The stove looks great, but it has issues and lots of little annoying things wrong with it. The big issue I have is our warming drawer is already broken in less than a year, it won't close/lock in place properly. I'm assuming it's the push to lock/unlock mechanism for the drawer that broke because as I was looking at it it's just cheap plastic. Also like other reviews I've seen mention the grates on the stove top sit too high so boiling water can take way longer, especially if your hoping to use a smaller pot to boil in. Another weird thing which I'm not sure if it's meant to do is if you open the oven door the flames on the stove top will go out and the igniter will start itself if you use the oven and stovetop at the same time. Another weird thing which I haven't tried with every button, but everytime I have the oven on and I use the kitchen timer the oven seems to quickly turn off/reset when I start the timer almost like a quick power outage or something where it just flashes off for a second.

Love our new oven. It heats so quickly, and the stainless top keeps spills easy to wipe up. My only complaint so far is the sound of the alarms to signal end of cycles or timers - it is tinny and cheap sounding.

My wife and I purchased our first Bosch Dual Fuel Range in 2014 after a major kitchen remodel. We also bought two other Bosch appliances for the kitchen. My wife loved that first Range. She liked the temperature probe feature, the warming drawer, and the roasting and baking options. And, of course, the great self-cleaning feature. After seven years and a lot of daily use, a couple components began to fail. We both agreed that the Bosch Dual Fuel Range was hands down the best available, so we bought our second HDI8056U in May, 2022. We could not be happier.

I love the look of my Bosch 800 series Dual Fuel Range. For me, Dual Fuel is the only way to go. Honestly, I haven't had it long enough to use all of the cooking options, but I have been very happy with results using convection bake. I love having the fifth burner on the stove top. I especially appreciate that the stovetop surface is stainless steel; it is so much easier to clean than the black enamel surface on my previous range.
I appreciate having 3 oven racks. The "grip space" feature at the front of the rack to facilitate pulling it out is great. I also appreciate that the warming tray can be operated with foot pressure, eliminating the need to bend over to open/close.
Overall, I am very pleased. My one small criticism is that the touch panel, which is located on the front of the appliance, is super sensitive. I find myself triggering functions by mistake just while cleaning the stovetop or cooking.

I love the combination of gas and electric it is awesome to cook with. I am an avid cast-iron cookware collector and it's so great to be able to cook on gas with my cast iron cookware. It's a beautiful stove I'm so happy about it

Great cooking stove top. The electric portion of the oven cooks a little fast, but I am planing for that as I prepare meals.
The digital clock constantly needs reseting for some reason.
I also hated the fact it took 7 months to get here from the time I placed the order. The retailer had to order a new door because the stove came in with a dent in it, hope it doesn't take 7 months to get here.

I owned my previous Bosch range for 18 years and was very happy with the performance. I do like my new Bosch range, however I roast alot of my food at a high temperature and have had some issues with the control panel. It has been replaced once and seems to be better now, but I believe have the control panel (i.e computer) right where the steam escapes when you open the oven door is not a good design. I am hoping my range does not have any further issues.

The range has five burners with different BTU capability which makes it very flexible. Love the thermometer port for cooking meat. Makes it hard fail at difficult baking such as turkey or pork butt. Very impressive stove. Very happy we bought it.

I purchased this Bosch dual fuel slide in range to replace an electric. I am so happy to have the gas top and the electric oven. I have been really pleased with every feature, especially the brightly lit oven, large oven window and the bottom warming drawer push to open. The gas top gives me simmer control I could not have with my electric glass top range. Very pleased.

I like this stove except I was hoping it had a griddle that fit in place of the middle rack on top. I didn't want an extra griddle to place on top of the unit but a griddle that would be integrated into the unit. The convection oven doesn't seem as warm as my last oven but I will learn the tricks to using it. I do love the stainless stove top and it seems easy to keep clean.

This was incredibly easy to install. It works really well. I espeically like the convection oven. The grills are a bit farther up from the flames than I expected and it does heat up the kitchen when I'm using the range. Something I need to get used to as I changed from all-electric. Overall, it's a really good oven so far. Would recommend.

Getting error E011 messages almost every time you open the door when the oven is on. This shoul not happen.
Oven temp is higher that display states.
Pan of water takes > 20 minutes to boil on the highest output burner
We had Bosch Appliances for many, many years, but never experience an appliance as bad as this one
I hope Bosch customer service, or Tech. Support will be able to solve my issues with this range

I love to bake. In fact, choosing an oven was quite a feat as I know so much science and engineering goes into creating the perfect environment for baked goods (breads especially). I choose Bosch because it was considered (in my opinion) more of a deluxe brand, but not too excessive compared to higher-end models. I also liked the duel-fuel option as well as the warming drawer and convection fan. My range did come with its glitches, which were addressed a few weeks afterwards through a reputable warranty provider. The oven does alert you when it's preheated and when food is ready; however, you'll need to be close by as the chime sounds infrequently. Overall, this is a great oven minus a few hiccups here and there.

Though I have had my dual fuel range only about a month, I will offer an excellent review up to this point. I say this because I have not really had the opportunity to prepare a full, big meal using the stove. I live alone and have family over to eat only occassionally. thus far we feel that this wass one of the best purchases that we have ever made. we have been using this product for about a month and the only thing that we would like to see improved is the the kitchen timer. when the timer goes off the sound is so low that when the sound goes off it can not be heard unless you are right nest to the unit. if this is something that you would improve on i hope it could be an up grade to an existing unit

I LOVE this duel fuel oven. Tha gas range has 5 burners, with the center burner being the largest. It works great and is easy to clean. The electric oven is easy to operate and cooks food evenly. The oven is also very easy to clean with its self cleaning option. Love it!!

I like most everything about the range except the fact that the control panel is very sensitive. I have to keep it locked otherwise any close contact turns it on. The surface streaks easily. My Dacor had no issues

I love my new Bosch Duel Fuel Side-in-
Range. It has so many nice features that it make cooking easy. I like all the programing I can do with the oven to bake or convection cook with little effort. The gas top is great with five burners and I feel the electric oven gives me better heat control. It has a nice stainless streel finish which matches my all my other Bosch appliances. Also easy to see control pannel. Just a great product.

First, allow me to say that we are really experienced cooks in our household. We got the 30" Bosch 800 Series, because of Bosch's reputation and the warming drawer. We are very disappointed. The range has a design problem, either the burners are too low, or the grates are too high, so there is too much space between the fire and your pot or pan. It takes FOREVER even to boil water. You will never get a good sizzle with this range, and you have to be REALLY PATIENT to brown chicken or meat. When it does, the meat is often already dry because it took so long to brown. The only "good burners" are the center one and the one to the right. The two small burners at the back are almost useless.
Also, bad quality control. One knob is at a lower level than the rest, and the warming drawer does not close evenly, it protrudes on one side (I have already tripped twice with it). Hope you learn from our mistake.

We love this stove over all. My only complaint is that when brand new, I had an issue where the touch panel was not responding consistently. I took off the front panel and wiggled all the electrical contacts and now it seems to be working well. This is why I rated 4/5 instead of 5/5.

We are so pleased with this range. It is a beautiful stove with many extra features, one most notable being that if a breeze might blow out a lit gas burner, the burner will automatically re-light. I don't mean to gush, but we love this stove!

Our new range is nice. But we really struggle to get water to boil. I thought that gas was supposed to heat up quicker than electric. At this point our old electric cook top was faster to boil water than the new gas range from Bosch. In some of our smaller stainless steel pans the water will never boil. I think the burners are too far away from the pans.

Disappointed in Bosch as a temp probe was missing with my stove. We built a new home which took much longer because of Covid. When I contacted the company about the missing piece they said it was past warranty and would not send one. Also said I bought it at a dent and scratch which I did not. Also have random error messages on stove. I am very disappointed in Bosch and will not purchase another appliance from them in the future. So many companies used Covid as an excuse for issues but as a consumer I cannot do the same. Pathetic

I love the 5 burners--great for home canning! And the convection oven is wonderful! Haven't tried the warming/proofing drawer yet (a bit too hot to bake much this time of year), but looking forward to homemade yeast breads.

I love this gas range and electric oven combo. Only issue is that I wish the left front burner was as big/hot as the front right. That is just what I am used to, however. I'll adjust to using the front right and one of the other bigger burners when I want to have two big pots going hot at the same time.

So far we are very pleased with our new range. It replaces a cooktop/ under counter oven that was outdated. The cooktop works beautifully and we are impressed with how quickly the oven and broiler heats. Most of all it looks great.

Great appliance, but in it's first 6 months, it started sparking constantly when the burners were not on. And I've been waiting 6 months for the parts to get it fixed...
So we have to live with it off at the breaker, and keep a burner going anytime we use the oven. Pretty frustrating warranty experience and no real word on when we might get the replacement part.
