Poor service for LG products

Although Ive owned the washer/dryer for a month I could not use them until last week. This was due to not having the water/electric connections. However I am very displeased with the customer service department. I had a broken part on the dryer. The location services department has yet to return my calls about getting the replacement part or where to get it repaired. I would not recommend this product simply because of there service department.

This is my first experience with a compact front load washer. I have a compact dryer . I had to go with the compact dryer then the compact washer as it was getting difficult finding regular size dryers and washers to fit down my narrow basement stairs . I have used my new washer 79 times according to LQ ThinQ app. I have had high efficiency full size washers before so I knew what to expect . The washing time and noise levels are about the same. It took a while to get use the front loading . All my past experiences have been top loading . Only disappointment was with Normal Wash extra rinse is not an option even though the manual book states it is . Would recommend washer

Dont over load the washer

Two years worked flawlessly. Then it started leaking. The tech discovered a plastic 5 dollar part snapped in half. Apparently the washer was over loaded. Now its going to cost 500 dollars in labor to replace a 5 dollar plastic part. I thought this was a smart washer but I guess not.

Im very happy with my LG washer. It is very quiet in the wash cycle but spins very powerfula little bit more then I would like it to. Does a good job cleaning the clothes. If there was one thing I would change is I wish the door was white. This washer is in the kitchen and the door makes it more noticeable.

Honestly its perfect. I have no complaints at all. The smaller size is great for me as I live alone. It washes everything even my king sized duvet insert. It washes my clothing clean better than at the laundromat. It does take longer than regular machines to wash I guess loads start at around 50m but I spent a year abroad in the EU and thats how the washers are there so Im used to it. I also love the integration with my phone so that I can get notifications and do remote start. Really satisfied and I cant wait to get the matching dryer.

We bought ours a Best Buy who sent a repair man several times to replace parts level and try to solve the problem. All he said was unfortunelty these machines are know for this. Horrible horrible horrendous. Takes 6+ hours to do a load of laundry shakes the apartment when spinning and makes loud knocking noises. Almost every time I use to flashes an error code and it has to restart or wont drain then locks clothes in for hours. Have no control over how long to dry items it decides for you? And takes so long to cool down. Horrible not efficient wastes so much water and energy

Please DO NOT buy this washer from LG. They shake like crazy and LG provides no help. I have done every natural thing you can think of - check the level install vibration pads remove the bolts etc etc. LG simple sends out a tech that barely looks at the machine they insist the machine is fine and you are stuck. This sends vibrations throughout my entire house and LG does not care. Spend your money elsewhere.

I bought this over a month ago and have been super happy with it. It is quieter than i thought for something that runs twice as fast as top loader washer. My clothes come out quite dry which take more load off of dryer. I love the notifications that i get from their app that tells me when a load is done monthly runs tracking energy use and lets me know when i need to perform maintenance like running tub clean cycle. A little more than i originally wanted to pay but just got my electric bill and it dropped so that will offset it.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it is working great. Handles more clothes than I expected for the size. It does a much better job of removing much more moisture from the clothes compared to a top loader. I like the added clean cycle feature that helps reduce possibility of getting mildew/odor. Surprised at how quiet it is for such a high spin cycle although the vibration can be felt through the floor not bad though. Also enjoy status information and control capability through smartphone.

Safety Issues: Vibrates and sent dryer tumbling

My review is solely on the operation of the washer. We purchased this late yesterday from RC Willey and ran the first load today and heard a loud bang .. the washer had moved so much that the stacking dryer fell off along with a glass container that shattered all over the ground. We put the recommended vibration pads like thin sandpaper on the floor per the instructions and all that did was help the washer feet dig deep into our new flooring so we have a hole in our flooring a hole in the wall where the dryer fell and our dog is injured. Really upset .. certainly a safety issue.

I have been able to use this washing machine for about six months now. It works OK it is small unfortunately its the only size I can get to fit into a little closet in my home. Well this survey is not asking me my opinion on the dryer which I had also requested some insight about. I have to say that the dryer is a piece of trash. Absolutely awful. I dont even use it. It is sitting on top of the washer taking up space. All the reviews say it takes a little bit longer to dry clothes. What it needs to say is it never dries the clothes totally. To try to dry two bath towels takes more than three hours and theyre still not dry. They are still damp. Are use the full spin cycle the highest level on the washing machine hoping that it cuts back on the drying time. I tried to dry five T-shirts and after five hours they were still damp. I bought this washer and dryer as a set to be stacked and I am absolutely so sorry that I bought it. I wish I could return them. But its been too long.

purchased the front load LG stackable small washer dryer. The washer gets an E1 error almost every time I use it. Example a queen sheet and two small kitchen towelsgets out of balance and stops cycle. You must reach in and pull out the laundry dripping and soaking wet put it back in and start again. So forget remote running from your smart phone. Who does that anyway?. So when this happens sometimes the door will mot unlock so you have to cancel the load. It drains and then you start all over. The ventless dryer is even worse. Up to 3 hours to dry a load. How LG calls these energy star efficient is a complete lie. I have asked LG to let me return these and buy larger and more efficient products but they want me to first call repair people. These products arent broken. They are simply crap products and not worthy. So if LG n wants to waste time and pay for needless repair people I guess I have no choice but to comply.

Cannot recommend for Seniors Small size is perfect but normal wash has default settings of warm wash when I would prefer cold and high spin when I want medium. I successfully changed the settings but after each wash it returned to the default settings. Older people want to set it and forget it.

I needed a small washer and this is what LG had. Consumer Reports rated LG washers highly but compared to my 19 year old Frigidaire it fails. Way less choice for water temperature cycles and clothes are still wet at the end of every cycle.

This product has done its job for over a year since purchase. However the matching dryer that was purchased afterwards for the purpose of eventually stacking the two did not come with the stacking kit that was supposed to be included according to the owners manual. It was only when we were ready to stack the two a year later that we discovered by reading the owners manual that the kit was supposed to have been included. We have been in regular contact with LG customer service and their presidential liason for over 3 months so far without success.

I am pleased with the washer now that I understand it a little better. Have trouble bending down to drain and check the filter. I am 75 and have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I guess there is no other way.

Excellent washer

Smaller washer than were accustomed to but does an excellent job cleaning clothing. Uses very little water and spins clothes nearly dry. Paired with dryer cute drying time by almost 50. Would highly recommend this for anyone with a smaller family.

Our previous washer was an lg front load it lasted us 13 years. It was time for us to downsize and I chose this smaller washer. First what I love: the lg app It works with Alexa for a small washer it can wash a lot of clothes. I will not try to wash my king size comforters in it though. Maybe a full size. All in all Im very satisfied with this purchase.

Cleans well

We have washed items from beach towels to small bathroom rugs. All have come out clean. Some cycles are long-up to 3 1/2 hours.

Lights not working

We bought this washer last spring. The power and start/pause lights do not turn on. We have had a repairman out and he checked into it and stated he was told they are not suppose to light up. He took off the display board and there are lights behind the buttons. My matching dryer lights work and our last set of stacking LG washer and dryer they both worked.
