Best purchase i have made in 15 years. That is the age of the washer I replaced and now know why our wardrobe was getting so dingy. it was not getting clean. Now know what white should look like. and it does a better with all colores. We are still finding things about this machine that we did not know when we bought it. every time it is used something new pops up. Always an experience that just keeps getting better.

Delayed Install

I wish I could tell you how the washer is.. but I do not have it yet. It was scheduled for delivery on July 16. That morning I get a message saying it is delayed and the earliest I will be receiving it is July 31. Now Im not sure if this is an LG Delivery issue or a different delivery issue but since I scheduled for someone to install it Im assuming the installer is coming from LG services. I just wish I had more of a heads up rather than receiving a text the morning of.

We have had our new thin Q dryer for about a month and it is fabulous. It has so many handy features that it makes doing laundry a breeze. It is so quiet. Having the app on my phone to remind me when the cycle is complere really helps me. Scheduling start times is also a great feature.

I love the large capacity. I can wash comforters. Although my clothes do not come out clean. Theres not enough water to wash my clothes to come out clean. I have to run 3 rinses everytime to get the soap out. Also laundry pods stain the clothes because theres not enough water to dissolve the laundry pod.

My review is for the WM4200HBA. It has been a reliable washer for the last 10 months. It has many wash features I have not even used yet. I do think the remote app feature is a plus. I have a couple of negative issues that doesnt interfere with the performance of the machine. 1.Water droplets collect in the drum after every wash 2. the tinted window does not allow you to see through.

Ive had this washer about 2 years. Stainless steel drum came apart at a year. Had to buy an interim washer while we waited months for parts to come it. Main circuit board went out last month. It was down for another week waiting on parts. Warranty expires this month. Wondering when its gonna break again.

Warranty issues

Home Depot did not send paperwork of the sale of my equipment. The sale vs the delivery were more than 8 weeks different. Consequently it showed the item was out of warranty. More time was lost trying to get the two companies to agree it is in warranty. Problem Have a spin problem with heavy loads. Wasted a few weeks trying to get proper paperwork. Initial company that started the appointment Process dropped out now I am working with Sears ? Parts are being sent that do not appear to me to alleviate the spin issues? . I contacted them a few times to no avail? I wanted to make certain they understood the problem as time is running out for warranty. My appointment is 2/16/24 and they tell me parts are on the way? This is very concerning

Very disappointed in these LG machines

The LG washer and dryer were delivered a year ago. Truthfully I have had the repair person out several times as well as paying a plumber trying to figure out the awful sewer smell from this WASHING machine. The clothes come out smelling bad I often run them through a second cycle. It is terrible. It is a WASHING machine clothes should come out fresh and clean. I go through all of the procedures run afresh advised every 10 loads dry seal and door and keep door and detergent dispenser open.Also paid to have them stacked then paid for risers and the cost to have that done. The risers arent high enough to hold detergent and I still have to bend down to retrieve the laundry from the washer and dryer. Very very very disappointed

Runs great does a fantastic job with wash loads. Like the wifi notifications - WHEN IT WORKS From day one the wifi does not stay on. I have to unplug the washer for a minute to get the wifi light to stay on. The dryer - which has the same control panel - stays on all the time. Had geek squad work on the problem and they replaced the control panel/wifi board and the problem still exists. Other than that issue we really like these appliances. Hopefully we can get the wifi issue figured out considering that was one of the deciding factors in purchasing.

Useless. Fatal flaw with the WiFi module.

As a washer its fine and does the job. One of the main reasons for buying this washer specifically was for the WiFi functionality. What a mistake. After initially getting things set up its plagued with the same bug as everyone else. The network card will run out of storage restart and self-assign its IP address. There are plenty of forum and blogs posts online about the issue. Customer support hasnt been helpful in any way. Wouldnt recommend at all.

Awesome Washer / Not So Awesome Hook Up

We are happy with the washer this far. I would have given it Five Stars but the team that was sent out to deliver and install appear to need a little additional training. They reversed the hook up on the hot and cold water supplies. Im not not sure howthe washer is clearly embossed/stamped hot and cold on the back ports and the water bibs in our home have corresponding color coded handles Blue for cold and Red for hot. To be honest a child could have hooked it up properly.

I continue to learn the nuances required to get a well washed load. My password is totally messed up and am unable to reset it so I have lost the remote features. I called for help but was told it was refrigerator season call back in fall. These are the most expensive washer and dryer I have ever owned and cant say I am thrilled.

Unusual noise and customer support is terrible

at about one and a half years of owning the 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart wi-fi Enabled Front Load Electric Dryer with TurboSteam and Built-In Intelligence it started making a skipping noise or should I say silence. As the drum turns it sounds like the drum turns off for a second at unequal intervals. I call it skipping or skipping a beat but apparently both of those are a foreign language to customer support. Customer support is extremely problematic in design - both the upfront technology assessment and the people on the line. Totally unhelpful.

My new LG was delivered on time by a pair on polite competent fellows who removed old machine installed and tested new one and gave me an orientation. All fuss-free. I proceeded to wash all sorts of things and found myself delighted with the multiple steam cycles as well as the other choices. Quiet. And heavenly clean gently handled clothes.

Great when it works

Two months after the warranty ran out the machine would stop mid-cycle flash lights and beep. Sometimes an error message come up sometimes not. Customer support at LG was lovely though since it was 2 months past warranty any repairs would not be covered. She said to unplug machine wait push two buttons at the same time count to 5 plug back in. The machine did resume mid-cycle but since then it has happened several times. Obviously there is some sort of intermittent problem. I have not had a chance to call them again but I am unhappy that only 2 months past warranty it has issues. I expected this machine to be reliable and am unhappy.

I bought this exactly one month ago and received it five days ago. I would give it a five star but because of the delivery provider and service I gave it a four star. The delivery provider rescheduled my order three times and delivered the wrong unit at the end of the day. I called many times until I got my order delivered. Still the delivery provider did not provide parts and did not install it. Their service is a nightmare.

Perfect for my Needs

As a massage therapist I am doing sheets ALL THE TIME I am able to do 3 sets of flannel sheets or 2 twin size blankets. It has so many options to handle all my personal laundry needs as well. Some things I havent even tried yet. Runs quiet so it doesnt interrupt my massage sessions on the other side of the wall. The only thing I wish it had an interior light to see the back of the washer in my poorly lit area.

Flooded our laundry room 7 times

Weve had this washer for 4 months now and it has literally flooded our laundry room SEVEN times now Not just a leak. Its been gushing water LG sent a tech to fix it and it still has the same problem. Theyre telling me the tech has to come out again before theyll even consider a refund. Meanwhile Im at home with 3 kids and a newborn and a flooded laundry room. Avoid at all costs I will never buy from LG again
